A Warm Farewell and Job Well Done to Dr. David Hatoff!

Forty years after graduating medical school, our friend and colleague, Dr. David Hatoff, has decided to retire from medical practice.  Dr. Hatoff has been with Saddleback Medical Group for sixteen years as an excellent gastroenterologist, and was one of our distinguished founding fathers in 1996.  It has been an honor to work alongside such a caring and compassionate doctor, and we will all miss Dr. Hatoff.  We wish him well, and thank him for his loyalty and faithful service to his patients, staff, and peers.  Job well done, Dr. Hatoff!

 We Are Proud to Welcome Dr. Catherine B. Ngo!

We are excited to announce the arrival of our new gastroenterologist, Catherine B. Ngo, M.D.  Dr. Ngo is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, Wake Forest Medical School, and she completed her fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of California at Davis.

Dr. Ngo is an outstanding physician with a particular focus in pancreaticoblilary disease and motility issues of the digestive tract.  Given this focus, Saddleback Medical Group, Inc. will now be able to provide high resolution esophageal manometry, high resolution rectal manometry, and Bravo pH testing for determining the presence of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

In addition, given her extensive training, Dr. Ngo offers an extraordinary level of expertise in dealing with the more complex pancraticobiliary issues.  Dr. Ngo is fluent in Spanish and Vietnamese, in addition to English.
